Laptop *dead?*

hello :(
i think i killed my laptop, yesterday i turned the laptop as nortmal, start>shut down, after the 'windows shutting down' screen, screen just went blank, power lights were still on and stayed on.

so i turned it off by holding to the power button, minutes later i turned it back on and still blank screen and power lights on.

is it dead? :(
 
Take the battery out and see if it starts up plugged in...
 
Also make sure your brightness is turned up. Most laptops have a FN and a button you have to push inorder for the brightness to go up. Also make sure your TV/external moniter vs LCD is not enabled....
