I recently got a Clevo P870TM1 with a dead cpu fan and been trying to fix it for a while. I already tried the port with another fan and it worked so the problem is the fan itself. The fan looks good, it's not stuck or anything, spins fast if I move it myself.

What could be the problem or is there anything I can try to revive it?

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like either a wiring problem or the motor itself is bad. The easiest is just to replace it.

Probably an open pole winding or a blown driver. Just have to toss it and put in a new one.

Thanks both. I already ordered one but its from china so its gonna take a while lol, I was trying to fix this in the meantime, maybe there's an easy fix.
