laptop cpu bottleneck?

Basically i want to buy a laptop to replace my computer for various reasons. I know the 8800gtx just came out and from the site i may be buying from (http://www.xoticpc.com) it seems like a pretty good deal for the performance. Powers not an issue and its primary use will be games.

I can get it with the 2.4g mobile part t770, or the e6850. Would the e6850 provide a large performance advantage in games over the t770 with the 8800gtx? (20% total price difference)
Most likely 1680x1050 res screen.

I wouldn't put a eXXXX anywhere near a laptop, far too much heat and power consumption. I would go for the t770. :)
 
I'd pick any of these:
T7300 2.0GHz, 800MHz FSB, 4MB L2
T7500 2.2GHz, 800MHz FSB, 4MB L2
T7700 2.4GHz, 800MHz FSB, 4MB L2

The X7900 (2.8GHz, 800MHz FSB, 4MB L2) is out there but it is really expensive and I can't seem to find it anywhere by itself.

EDIT: I'd also stick with an 8800M GTX or GTS

Why the heck would you want a desktop CPU and GPU in a laptop? It'd be way too hot and those parts probably would burn out no matter what cooling solution you got in that laptop.
 
Getting a faster processor won't make much of a difference (if at all) in games. You'd be better off sticking with a mobile CPU for the heat/power savings.
