I'm looking for a laptop backpack for my Dell C640, 14". What do you use, and what do you like about yours?

I need it to be able to carry the laptop(obviously) plus a couple notebooks/binders... and maybe a small book or two. And it needs to be comfortable.

Thanks for any recommendations... school starts soon :(

I picked up a Samsonite laptop backpack at Staples a few weeks ago. I haven't used it much, but when I did it was comfortable. its roomy, the laptop pocket feels well padded, and it has a bunch of pockets for things like cd player (with headphone wire slot), cd's, etc. I think it'll suit me well (student here also).

There was also a targus one for sale. It looked about the same, only a little bit bigger.

Here's a few nice ones:

Oops, just saw that you said backpack... Here's the one that I use, and its reasonably priced. Great quality too: Tumi

Here is a samsonite one that is $40 and is fairly large. Can fit a 15in notebook + looks good + comfortable. And what is really nice is it doesn't look like a laptop backpack.

i bought a swiss gear maxxum, i love it so far

I love this thick pillow like padding, very comfy ++

Tumi owns all in the bag market.

I own this backpack from Tumi. I carry a 15.4" laptop, multiple college textbooks, laptop accessories, etc, and there's still room.

The backpack is always comfortable and it's waterproof. I also believe Tumi has lifetime warranties.

I found the Targus backpack to be comfortable, protective (i have dropped my laptop in it. .. oops), and reasonably priced. I belive I paid ~70 at compusa.

I highly recommend it above all the other options listed so far. (IMHO)
