I have a high quality 2.1 set up with Klipsch THX speakers which were quite expensive and produce great sound. I recently took my desktop out of my dorm room because it was taking up too much space and for some reason wont boot... anyway would it be worth it to buy a Soundblaster sound card for my laptop if im not using a 5.1 set up?

also if it would be worth it is there a cheaper card than the Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS?

I dont think it'll be worth it to get a soundcard for a laptop. It'll dirve your speakers fine.
