i've already posted this in mobile computing, i'm in a bit of a rush so thought it would get more eyes here... hope that's okay.

i know nothing about laptop hardware, so i need some help here...

my current laptop is falling apart, i need a new one... today. it's a studio xps 1340. it's missing keys, it no longer works unless it's plugged in, the hinges are broken completely as of tonight, video is choppy when trying to do anything else at the same time, the wifi likes turn its self off frequently.

now for what i'm looking for:

i like big screens and i can not lie... would like a 17" screen but if i can get a 15.6" or so for significantly cheaper with better hardware then i'll manage. i dont care how big or heavy it is, it's not transported all that much.

it will be used mostly for typical internet stuffs, large amounts of streaming videos, non hardware intensive games (minecraft, don't starve, etc.) though it would be nice to play some real games but not necessary as my desktop is used mainly for that (the wife would be thrilled if it could run swotor however)

800 is my tip top dollar... would rather stay around 400 - 500 however.

needs to be available from best buy because i wanna get it asap and don't like to wait for shipping... that wouldn't be an issue with amazon prime but for some reason hey like to charge a lot more for laptops than best buy.
