My 2.4ghz P4 dell 5100 runs cooler now without any QMD's. I'm really surprised at the difference. If QMD's ever come back I might need to throttle it a little more to keep the heat in check. So I guess thats one good thing about the loss of QMD's, any lappy that was running them is much better off cooling-wise.
