Lapping Xeon guide?

I was wondering if there's a guide anywhere for lapping a xeon cpu?

I should be getting one soon and am wondering if it's any different from a C2D. Do you just get down the the copper and then make it flat? I know how to do that well.

Also why do cpu manufacturers add a layer of a more insulative metal over the copper?
 
Xeons are no different from a C2D or C2Q, any decent lapping guide for either will work :D
 
yep same as any other CPU really... just follow the directions and take your time
