if you lap a heatsink to be perfectly flat, will it have a uniform perfect mirror finish for sure or most likely? because ive lapped my processor using 200 up to 2500 grit and i know ive done a good job because its pretty damn flat and even and for the most part there is a mirror finish. its not a perfect mirror finish though. i dont see any light distortion but their are parts that aren't as reflective as others.

Don't worry about the mirror finish, you won't see any relevant performance gains past 1000 grit sandpaper. Key is flatness :)

and after two hours of prime 95 stress test on all four cores my temps are 36C 32C 34C 31C in a 65F degree room. this is such a massive improvement on my stock heatsink its crazy. on the stock heatsink i was getting. 65C under load in these same conditions. I cannot believe what a huge improvement this heatsink is.

with a 120 super fat panaflo fan. its so big the included brackets didn't work so i had to rig it using some 28 guage wire

Ahh, didn't see the title's of the threads. One thing I never really look at :p

The Ultima 90 is quite the performer for it's size :)
