Good news everyone! LANified! is hosting another awesome LAN party!



LANified! 21: Summoner's Stand runs from Saturday July 4th 10am to Sunday July 5th 6pm, and will feature awesome gaming action! The main tournament will be for League of Legends, plus there will be mini-tournaments and plenty of social gaming too!

Not only that, but this is part of our Best in Calgary series. In addition to the cash prizing on the line, the first place team for the League of Legends main tournament will be declared "Best in Calgary" and win totally sweet custom plaques showing how they're really the "Best in Calgary"! How cool is that?

But BloodyIron, are your LAN parties just a big tournament?

Certainly not! LAN parties are all about gaming in many forms. Social gaming at LAN parties, means getting together and playing all sorts of games, new and old! We know people want quality tournaments, but that's not the only thing to our LAN parties. We love all kinds of games!

Our next awesome LAN party is just two weeks away. Prepay will be closing soon, this Sunday. So if you want to secure your seat, and save on the ticket price in the process, you had best prepay!

Not only that, but if we manage to get 30 people to prepay we're going to drastically increase the League of Legends prize pool, to $700 CASH! Oh, and that's in addition to our super sweet "Best in Calgary" custom plaques too!

But don't be mistaken, our LAN parties aren't just about tournaments. There will be plenty of other gaming going on. People are already showing interest in Diablo 3, Minecraft, and many other games!

But not only that, we have Riot support!

Effective immediately, we are going to be extending prepay until end of day Thursday June 25th 2015 for our coming event, LANified! 21: Summoner's Stand.

Our upcoming event will feature the main tournament of League of Legends, with fabulous prizing, but now Riot is throwing their support into the pool too! Riot will be adding the following to the pool:

  • 1st place - 3200 RP/each player, Triumphant Ryze/each player, 4-Win IP Boost/each player
  • 2nd place - 2400 RP/each player, 4-Win IP Boost/each player
  • 3rd place - 1600 RP/each player, 4-Win IP Boost/each player
  • 4th place - 800 RP/each player, 4-Win IP Boost/each player
  • 5th-8th place - 4-Win IP Boost/each player

All this great support from Riot is in addition to our cash prizing, and "Best in Calgary" custom plaques!

Prepaying for your seat at our LANs have great benefits. Firstly, you spend less. Secondly, you guarantee yourself a seat. Thirdly, we enter you into a prepay-only raffle for an awesome TRENDnet router ( model : TEW-812DRU ). Fourthly, if we get 30 prepays for this event we increase the cash prize pool for the main tournament to a whopping $700! How awesome is that?

Listen, we know we said we would close prepay already, but, you see, we've changed our minds.

We know there are more people that want to come to our LAN party, and we don't want to disappoint them! One of the hard facts we have to deal with is making sure enough people attend our events in order for them to be sustainable; and we don't have enough people prepaid just yet to hit that mark. If we don't have enough people prepaid, we may have to cancel the event.

There are many benefits to prepaying for our events, as we have outlined in the past. The biggest benefit is to the event, as more people will want to come as more people prepay. It is a compounding effect.

Specifically, we are extending prepay a final time (seriously!) for LANified! 21 until Sunday June 28th (end of day).

We know you want to see awesome events, and we want to run them for you! Help us ensure that we make them happen.


But BloodyIron, what can I do to help?
The best way you can help us is spreading the word. We hear all the time, people commenting along the lines of "oh, how come I've never heard of this before?", despite our best efforts to promote our events. Word of mouth is very effective. We understand that there are already plenty of you spreading the word, and we appreciate that greatly. The biggest barrier we face is people simply not knowing about our events and what we do. Help us break down that barrier.

Dear Fellow Gamers,

It is with much regret that we must inform you that we are cancelling our upcoming LAN party, LANified! 21: Summoner's Stand.

We are cancelling the event due to insufficient interest, despite our best efforts (and yours).

Everyone that has prepaid for this event will be refunded in full. We are planning to have that completed today. If you have any issues with your refund, contact us immediately so we can resolve it. The refund will come through paypal.

We appreciate those that have shown their support for our events. As always we will continue to improve and provide superior events. This is not the last event for us this year.

While unfortunately we will not be providing an event this coming weekend, we are already planning the other events for the rest of this year. Please stay tuned, as we hope to announce them soon. We know that many of you are looking forward to our next events, but please be patient with us while we ensure they are up to our standards for quality.
