Lancool PC-K59 Case

The Neoseeker gang seems to really like the design of the Lancool PC-K59 case they just reviewed. Personally I think that case is just screaming for someone to cut a window in it / mod the hell out of it but that's just me.

The Lancool PC-K59 is a sturdy case that's all about being as silent and tool-free as possible. Designed with silent fans and rubber washers to reduce vibrations, Lancool wanted this case to be quiet. There are thumb screws for all the drives and motherboard, and it even has locking latches for 7 of the 8 expansion slots. You may not have to use a single screw driver when building a computer into this case.

Lian Li/Lancool makes the pc-k62 (the old model) and the pc-k63 (new model) both of which have windows. The older stuff from k56 through k62 were pretty solid cases for the money. Bill Own of mnpctech reviewed the k60 back in 2009 and that thing has been an excellent competitor to the Antec 900/902 ever since.

Looks sort of similar to the Corsair 600T, I'll hold onto my money for the Fractal R3, they actually bothered to paint the chassis, I don't even want to know how much this one will cost.

I myself have a Lian Li/Lancool k58, with window. great case. only drag about it was climbing under my desk to get to it. loved all the fan mounts and storage/expansion space. tons of room for all sorts. had 2 4890s and a 250gts in there and then 2 5870s with scythe setsungen (v1) on both and the 250gts, and had plenty of space between the outer door and hdd cage. Heck, enough space to mount a fan to the window for more cooling.
