I purchased a Lanbox VF6000BNS today and while the fans are fairly quiet I assumed that they would turn off or at least slow down after the system reached x temperature, however they just keep going at 100%. So I was wondering if there was an error with my setup, or if I will have to purchase a different type of fan.

also below is a link to the case that i am referring to

edit - sorry, turns out it was the MOBO making all the noise, damn D945GCLF2

so i guess this topic serves no purpose so if a mod could plz delete it i would appreciate it :p

Molex fans and 3 pin fans don't have variable speed control - they run at a constant speed. Only 4 pins are variable and are usually limited to CPU fans.
