What type of solution would you use for LAN messaging? I would like to have groups setup so only people in those groups would receive certain messages. This is on a domain with Small Business Server 2003. Thanks - Ian.
I think the SBS comes with Exchange Server? You could set up recipients & distribution lists, public folders etc delivered via Outlook. Exchange is pretty flexible when controlling who gets what and how.
If you are looking for an Instant Messaging service, I think that option was removed from Exchange 2k3 and is now called Live Communication Server?... Its an add-on server product.
