I just got a new laptop and I'll need a pair of headphones to take with me. I've generally never used headphones before, but from my impressions here, the ATH AD700's are a safe bet. I prefer to hear people around me without pulling the headphones off an ear. I'll probably use them equally for gaming, music, and video. I prefer a little more bass than normal just because I listen to a lot of techno, dubstep, etc. :) Should I do some more research, or will I be fine with the 700's? I prefer to keep it under a 100 dollars.

Edit: I won't have a headphone amp.
