Here's the skinny, [H]ard boys and girls.

I started out with a crappy Raidmax Sagitta case. The thing had terrible airflow, and was just bad. Then, I moved to the Cooler Master 690, one of the greatest cases I've ever owned. But, I went M-ATX, and as such, I moved to the Cooler Master Elite 341. Great case as well, and keeps things very cool. Although, I have somewhat of a case problem, and so I bought a custom made tech station, and used it for all of a week, and then reverted back to the 341. Now I have the 690, the tech station, and the 341 lying around. I really wanna get a true SFF case for my SFF system, and sell off all my other cases in the process.

So, I need an opinion, because I'd rather spend my money on upgrading something more important than my case at this point. I've got dual 4850's and an E8200 OC'ed. Will it really be worth it to move to a lanbox shaped case, such as the Qpack, or the Sugo, or the Lanbox? Will my temps reach a point where I will get frustrated and move back to the 341, and if not, which of the 3 cases, or any of the lanbox-esque cases, is the best? I've got $100 to spend. :cool:
 
they're smaller cases, so proper airflow is a must.

i'm migrating out of my lanbox lite soon - probably by middle of next week - so if you're interested, make me a fair offer.
 
SFF cases aren't ideal for heavy overclocking or sli, they just don't handle the airflow required. Also, the QPack's power supply is teh suq, and it's not easily replaceable unless you forego having anything in the 5.25" slot (no dvd drive etc).

I currently have a mATX board in a P180B case but I like having the extra space to work. It's much easier to keep things neat and maintain airflow paths when you're not trying to cram everything into a little box.
 
The thing is though the only people who really consider the p181 a SFF case is Tt. I'd label it a mATX case but thats just me. Sounds like the OP wants a classic cube SFF case. The thing is though now that we have mATX mobos again that allow for dual video cards require something bigger than the classic small cube SFF case. As mentioned above people wanting to run dual video rigs will require some really good case cooling to keep the temps down even if they are running the system with no overclocking. I'm not sure cases running fans smaller than 120mm are really up to the challenge. I could be wrong but I have doubts. The 350 and 351 cases are getting a lot of attention here at HF lately. Maybe look into them? The Rogue and Qmicra are cube like but quite large for lan parties and pricier.
 
For what you're looking for, don't go with the Lanbox Lite/LB. As they are, its just not enough air flow. I had to add two extra fans in mine to get my P4 at 50C. Granted its a fricken oven of a cpu, and isn't the best heatsink, but I can't imagine trying an overclocked 8200 and dual 4850's on the stock config. And you've only got ~100-110mm clearance for a heatsink.

Don't get me wrong, its a good case and I love it, but I would have gotten the 340 like I wanted to originally if I were to do it again. 2x60mm and a 92mm fan aren't going to compete with a case with multiple 120mm fans. I think you'd be disappointed in the temps if you went from the 341 to the LB.

I have built (and rebuilt) plenty of QPacks and as long as you stick with Lite-On or Sony/NEC DVD drives (which are supposedly slightly shorter than others) any sub 1000 watt ATX spec PSU should fit.
 
I have the TT lanbox lite and I dont have a problem with cooling. Overclocking the 7750be to 3.0 and the heat monger 9800gtx. I maintain a cpu temp of 45'c and the gpu is around 65'c both at full load. You just have to route the cables right to maintain airflow and a modular psu is a must. I am using two hdd too(one is a raptor) I did add a 40mm fan to the back and using the scythe shuriken cpu cooler.
 
Get the Lian Li PC-V351. I have both the Lian Li and the Lanbox Lite, and the Lian Li with some aftermarket 120mm fans and big flat heatsink with inverted fan keeps the airflow simple in the front and up out the back through the 120mm powersupply fan and 80mm rear fan which you can upgrade in size easily enough. Be sure to get a GPU that dumps the heat OUTSIDE of the case (these are usually the dual slot ones) rather than in it.
