Lan Bandwidth Managment?

As the question says. I know there is a program out there, in this case BandWidthController that does this. Is there any other programs like that for central management?

I was looking into QoS also.
 
Do you want to rate limit bandwidth per port or through a central device like a traffice shaper?
 
thanks for the links there. Either QoS or Shaping are fine in this case. I did find one more app out there for windows called inet shaper... but it doesn't work very well.

I tried to configure my route to coexist with Wingate ENS, and it didn't work out too hot.

This is a windows based machine; which i should'a mentioned.

I suppose i might have to switch it to linux, but don't have time to learn the software.
 
I highly recommed ClarkConnect if you want a nice shaping/firewalling setup without the hassle of learning linux, and the added bonus of being able to do ALOT with this nice end user friendly OS.
