i have had watercooling for around a year and a half now and i have just noticed my pump has started to vibrate a lot and when i was looking around try to work out a way to stop it vibrating i noticed the base was very very hot almost too hot to touch is my pump on its way out or is it supose to be like that

afik there not supposed to get too hot to touch but arnt they supposed to get hot-ish?
 
yeah it definitely sounds like your pump is working too hard. what do you put in your loop? dyes can build up in your blocks and create a ton of restriction. or you may just have too many components in the loop. or if you have a silver coil thats been in there for a while it could have dissolved enough that it dislodged from the tube and got stuck inside something and blocked the flow.
 
only the cpu is in the loop at the min i have taken the pump apart and there is nothing blocking it
