lagging picture?

recently ive noticed that when i play games, my screen like does a 1 second lagg real quick every like 10 seconds(easily seen while playing cs) but it also happens on everygame (not just fps but alos rts a little)

(then again i just got a viewsonic 17inch VA720 lcd monitor, but it was perffectly fine from the end of last month when i got it, its just happened recently, but i think its my comp with a bunch of poop (pardon my french) in it, like i had kazaa previously in it and i think from that i got popups and who know what else is lerking around my comp left over ffrom it)


conclusion: a nice clean reformat to see if its my comp

You might not have to reformat to clean it out.
Why don't you try AdAware and Spybot S&D first and see if that fixes the problem.

haha yeah right i already have BOTH of them and they still dont block the pop ups, but those arent the problem it the picture lagg

Actually adaware and spybot dont block pop ups they just delete the spyware that causes them. If you want a popup blocker get the google toolbar.

From what you said in your first post it seems like you are talking about spyware . Also if you do have then both installed have you updated the definitions?
