Lag/Performance issues in Cod4...

My guess was a problem with the sound. Are you using onboard sound or a card? Reinstalled drivers?

i dont drop down that much on smoke, maybe 35-40fps, but it's constant 55-60fps on mine with 2xAA and 1920x1200 res. with all on high or normal settings.

I tried my onboard sound and my audigy 2zs. Whenever in IE7, if I scroll up and down while in vent, or listening to music it breaks up and crackles. (Also tried different Headsets)

Did you update the motherboard drivers?

Yeah could be my drivers, but the thing is I don't remember ever dropping that much in smoke :(
