LACP between two switches

If you have multiple smart switches that support LACP, is it possible to create LACP connections between those switches?

yes. The switch both speak LACP, no?

LACP is a standard. So yes. It should not be manufacturer dependent. However, The configurations will be different. And you just have to figure out the right combinations of settings to make them play nice. Like Dynamic/Static LACP..etc.

LACP is the vendor neutral standard. Etherchannel is Cisco only...if thats what you are thinking of and if it work between two different vendors.

imho if you get to the point that a 1G link between switches is too slow its time for ones with some 10G ports for uplink.
The only time I would consider LACP between switches in a business environment is to get a little more life out of existing switches until they can be replaced.

this is not for business, and 10G is just out of my price range.
