Lack of intake - big problem?

I'm hashing out the final bits for a build and I'm torn between the Corsair 620hx and the Silencer 610w. I was leaning towards the Corsair, but the fan configuration is less than ideal. I've settled on the Lian Li A05B which mounts the PSU is the bottom of the case. The problem is, the hard drive cage is directly above it with very little clearance meaning the intake fan on the Corsair wouldn't really be able to do much at all.

Here's a pic of the interior of the case with a red block where the PSU would sit. The darker red is the position of the 120mm fan and the arrows indicate the airflow.

Now, in this picture, you can see there's very little clearance between the drive cage and the PSU. How big of an issue is that? The exhaust grill is still exposed, but the lack of intake has me worried.

With the Silencer 610w, the exhaust is an 80mm fan on the "front" so there's no issue with that configuration.
