LaCie 1394 Write Speed = Slow

[eighteen_psi]

Got write caching turned on (though for some reason, this made the drive disappear from everything, save for device manager, until after i rebooted).

No improvement enabling it. OS is 2K3 Web Server, otherwise specs are in the sig. Anyone got any ideas?
