• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

a.k.a. I have no idea what I'm doing and its great!

General plan
Learn about ESXi and its various components
Continue working with Server 2003 and 2008 (Still have the 70-291 left to take)
Install and configure SCCM for Software Deployment and Software updates

Machines:
X6 1055T - 12 gigs - 2 150 gig raptors /shrug
A6-3650 - 8 gigs - 160gig and a 1TB

My concern between these machines is disk. Should I throw in another disk, or more, per server to spread my VM's across?

Alright next question.

Anyone recommend specific 1-2 port NIC's?

Thanks Child of Wonder.

Huzzah! Resolved my boot and ram "quirks". ESXi 5.0 is up an running from a flash drive, 8 gigs installed and ready for some VM's!!!!!

Lab Update:
A6 3650 OC'd to 3.4 ghz
Upped ram to 16 gigs

Currently, running 4 servers and 2 clients with ease.

Going to re-do the lab this weekend though.

1: 2008 R2 (AD/DNS/DHCP)
2: 2008 R2 (FS, SCCM Central/SUP, will also house SCCM SQL DB)
3: 2003 (SCCM Primary/SUP)
4: 2003 (SCCM SS, DP)
5: W7 32bit
6: W7 64 bit
7: XP 32 bit
8: Linux Mint
