Wondering, for the price........give or take 50-60 bucks, is there anything better and bigger? And what kinda long term problems are people having with this LCD if any?
I'm eaither going to buy this, or the 2005fp, cant decide =/

Don't own one, but the only "problem" I see is the 6bit TN film and its color, viewing angle limitations.

colors are better than any other lcd i own. only thing i regret is not getting one with higher native resolution, 1280x1024 everything looks huge on a 19 inch.

yeah, it has 16.2? or 16.7 million colors...........any 19 inch lcd or the 2005fp beat that? i herd about the viewing angles, that dosent bother me much really just curious, really, which has more problems, i know with dell i can keep returning till its perfect condition, the LD, id have to rma and such and bleh, just sounds tireing, wondering which i really should get, i dont do much in terms of gaming, but i want a fast lcd, thats cheap, i know 2005fp's are gonna get cheaper, and they have new revs out?

any more input in this would be very helpfull!

there's a lot of problems with backlight issues with the 2005FPW but if you avoid that then it is a good screen. it isn't as fast as the L90D+ but is an S-IPS panel and so viewing angles are better. regarding colour reproduction, the L90D+ is excellent and offers good black depth too, i doubt you would notice much, if any, difference between the L90D+ and 2005FPW in this respect. The native res on the 2005FPw is higher obviously, but it might not be as good for gaming

i dunno, if i get that vewisonic, id prolly just get the 2005 (because of price)

id like to go wide screen but dell never has 360ish dollar deals on their 2005 :(

I have a L90D+ and game with it and I am very happy. Not as happy as I will be when my two 2405s arrive today or tomorrow but I would buy the L90D again if I needed too.

ok bumping this up, wondering which of the 3 would be best for:

heavy websurfing, movie watching, casual gaming (1-2 times a day)...

2005fp <-------700ish at dell
L90D+ <-------333ish at newegg
VX924 <----new viewsonic 4ms pannel............i can get it for 416 dollars

yes im on a buget, but if the dell outpreforms on those levels, id like to go with it i think i want widescreen :p
