I have heard a lot of great things about this monitor, and a few bad things which I shall procede to list:

Pro's

Price
Gaming Quality
Minimal Ghosting
Response
Tilt

Cons

Viewing Angles (Who watches DVD's on their COMP with their mates, i mean honestly?)
Movies
Text and Word Processing
Webpage Viewing
Horrible Adjustment Buttons

Can any one with experience of this monitor please post their comments about it, as I am looking at purchasing one down here in humble New Zealand.

The Price isn't that great here though for them $710.00NZD thats about $500USD, so no NewEgg costs here; however we DO get Zero Dead/Bright Pixel Warrantys, something NewEgg and Hyundai need to improve on in the States aye?

Any thing any one can share will be greatly appreciated

The viewing angles aren't nearly as bad as some say. Web pages and word processing is fine. I'm very happy with the monitor.

I got two of them. The second one was DOA and is being RMA'd now :(. The other one i like except the viewing angles suck compared to my Dell 2001FP and I don't care much for the buttons on it. Good monitor overal though.

I have one...
little bleeding on the bottom right only noticable on windows desktop.

text not as good as my dell but ok.

I bought it for games....WOW

for the price, I paid $314, I think it was, on a one day newegg sale with free shipping.
I am happy..

Upgraded my video card amd now I need a 20-21 that has the same game quality and 1600 res.

would I buy another...if price is right yes.

ps NO dead pixels

sparks

The only difference I can tell between the L90D+ and my old CTR is movies and video look just a *little* bit off. Other than that i love it.

Its great for gaming and has no ghosting, which is what i got it for.

I think you would have to spend atleast twice as much to get one better and bigger. (people seem to like the Dell 2405FPW on this forum ~700+ dollars?)

How much is the Viewsonic VP191b where you are? $500USD is just too much for a L90D+..

Cheers Guys,

i get it next week, talkin to the guy, the warrenty sounds great: Perfect Panel. n e imperfections and the panel will be replaced ONSITE for the next three years.

The seller informed me that he has no unhappy customers with this lcd, so i hope not to be the first.

i'll let u all no how it goes.

Yeah this is a good monitor. I've owned one for the last few months and must admit that I am a convert to gaming on LCDs. Games look sharper and better on the L90D than on my old CRT. The colors are just a bit less rich but you would only notice if you were to compare them side by side.

Watching movies can be a bit annoying as the black bars on the top and the bottom bleed. It really isn't a huge problem and no one else has really noticed it. The average bigscreen CRT TV bleeds more light on the top and bottom than this LCD does. Working on text documents is fine.

The viewing angles are also good enough and worth the gain in response time. I've had friends sitting on my Futon (I'm in college) watching movies with me and it was absolutely fine at up to a 45 degree angle. Unless you're going to have like twenty people all crowded in the same room trying to watch a movie you'll be fine.

i have one. i have one!

this monitor has image quality better than a dell, dell looks yellowish next to it.

only monitor better than this one in my opinion is this sony.

it is $606 USD for the Viewsonic VP191B-2 thats the only monitor that i could find, thats about $883 over here, and its purely out of the question for a LCD
