Is that what I'm supposed to do, use an adrenaline shote before opening the door? Okay, I'll try that.
 
Use adrenaline whenever you're about to move a long distance during a horde rush. It pretty significantly reduces the severity of the "drag" the common infected do to you.

Honestly, though, with four human players, Normal difficulty is absolutely no sweat. A particularly good team can go through an entire campaign without incaps.
