Kyle, how about a section for [H]ardPrinting?

[fuelvolts]

I'm searching for a new printer and it would be neat-o to ask all the [H}ard people out there their opinion. I believe that a section for printers would be really convenient! Thanks!

Any supporters?

You could probably just post in general hardware.

I'm sorry, but I laughed when I read "[H]ardPrinting" There is nothing hardcore about printing, unless your still using dot matrix.

Or any impact printer, for that matter.

On that note, what about a Vintage Hardware section (maybe as a subsection of General Hardware)? It'd be the perfect place to post pics of my 286 laptop.

Anything computer hardware related that doesn't have a specific forum dedicated to it goes into General Hardware, hence it's name. We kicked around the idea of making sub-forums for the major catagories (one of which was a printer subforum) and it was decided to not make things complicated with a giant host of sub-forums. So the proper place to post would be GenHard.
