KVR 1333 ECC UDIMM okay for the SR2?

I am close to pulling trigger on an sr2. I had planned to get one back in october but became busy with work etc. i currently kvr 1333 mhz ecc nonreg membory in my x8dah. Will running this ram on an sr2 with my pair of x5550 limit my OC?
 
The SR-2 can use ECC memory but I am not sure if any of us have tried any yet.
 
ECC will work fine, I am using 6x2GB of 1333 Micron and have had no problems overclocking. My x5650's CPU's are currently at 3634MHz (173*21) with a 2:8 memory divider which actually puts the memory at 1384MHz. It's still running nicely at the 1333 SPD timings, and at least in my case it has an SPD for 1522MHz if I want to crank them up more.

The biggest performance hit is due to the fact that it is PC1333 memory, which is the max for ECC. It will definately work, and it may even overclock well. You will be fine using it.
