So I recently acquired a Mac G4 to accompany my PC, and now I have decided I want to run it with the same moniter, mouse, and keyboard. I have been searching but I just can't seem to find a decent USB 2.0 & VGA (even though I would prefer DVI) switcher thats sub $70. All the ones I find either are 1.1, PS/2 or are condemned by those who own them. Does anyone have any ideas?

Cheap KVMs are the bane of all existence.

My boss runs an IOGEAR (PS/2 though) on our two servers, and says it just always works. The USB one on Newegg gets a lot of crap hurled at it.

My best KVM experiences have always been with Black Box, but they don't hardly have cables under $70. Hmmm. I could be wrong: this looks promising, $39.95 and up .... I do see anywhere that it says whether it is 2.0 or no, but if you haven't look at Black Box yet .... I'd hit that link, then get them to call you or email you with details. Who know, Black Box might even have the DVI KVM you're dreaming of.
