i just got a new IOGEAR kvm for my main rig and server.

i notice lag when moving rapidly in games from side to side. i guess thats to be expected? i have heard that before. i was wondering if anyone else uses a kvm and has had this problem. good thing i dont play like q3 it would be unbearable. havent decided if it is yet in CS.

anyway to correct this ?

iogear. i think the linksys is a rebadged iogear. i guess thats part of the problem. only a 50 buck kvm. but its ok i might just try seperate mice. not too hard to tuck one away as it would be with a kb.

I have a TRENDnet (TK-200) KVM. Works great. No lag what-so-ever.
It's optionally powered, it has a plug (hole, didn't come with a adapter), but it can also draw from the keyboard plug (the way I'm using it now).

I have a Belkin KVM. No lag here. My only problem was that it didn't like my MS Internet keyboard so I had to switch it with the Logitec KB my wife had.
