I know there are KVM switches that can switch between two computers, but can I switch between two sets of keyboards, mice, and a monitor? On the same computer of course.

Plus, how long can I make a PS/2, and VGA cable before I start getting attenuation?

You could get a dual console KVM and hook up both consoles to the same computer, I guess (big waste) or get a mechanical KVM (old kind that kinda suck)

As for cable lengths, what you CAN use depends on your hardware and, for VGA, resolution and how much interference you can put up with. It also depends on cable quality.... Too many factors for me to give you a straight answer there.
