Thought I would put this out there to help you make an informed consumer desicion on your next heatsink purchase. I bought a Scythe heatsink from an online retailer. Everything was perfect, but the heatsink package didn't include any mounting hardware (ie. screws, etc.). I sent Scythe's RMA department a quick e-mail about the missing parts, got a response later that day and they shipped what I needed the next day via UPS 3-day delivery. They even included photos of the parts in thier response e-mail to ensure that I got the right ones. Great company.

cool! i've always liked Scythe's products, now i know their service is good too. Question though, how come you didnt just contact the online retailer that you purchased the product from? How come you had to contact Scythe directly?

The end product is that of the merchandiser. In my own opinion I feel that it was Scythe who needed to take responsibility. Through the retailer, I'm sure I would have had to send the entire product back to them at my own expense, then wait for them to send the product back to me. It seems much easier to get missing parts directly from the supplier, who probably has a box full of the bags of parts that i needed. If the product itself was damaged or faulty, i would have gone back to the retailer.
