I cracked my LCD when repairing a back light problem. Fixed the back light problem like a champ and pushed a little too hard when assembling the monitor back together. Crack.

I had to solder a connection back on to the backlight LED strip that randomly decided to fall off.

Anyone know where to get a replacement panel?

The panel is the majority of the price of a desktop monitor anyway. Might just need to knuckle under and buy a whole new one. If it makes you feel any better I've done stupid things like that fixing electronics too.

Ya, Im about to just go ahead and purchase another monitor or two. Meh...

Matte LM270WQ1's can be purchased from eBay for 125$. I bought one and paired it with the overclock-able PCB+DVI board without issue, but it needed to be calibrated since it had low preset gamma and a strong yellow tint.

The problem is that there are so many different versions of the lm270wq1 I'm not sure which will work.

Mine is actually the (SD)(DA) revision.
