Just wondering if anyone knew anything about if Kool PC Mods had closed, gone out of business, is reorganizing, server problems, etc?

If they're now gone anyone know any place that does laser etching and doesn't charge an arm, two legs, and my hypothetical first born?
 
Thanks! Was getting worried I'd be spending the next few months with a dremel trying to etch my own window.

*edit* Seems they've still got problems switching some of the pages over to the new server though. Hrmmm.
 
Ya,

I've been waiting for them to make the etched and lit up mouse pads they used to have again. So I've been keeping a near daily eye on them.
 
Thanks for the new url. Still had their old url bookmarked, and wasn't getting any joy with that one. Add to that the fact that I have ZERO memory anymore, and couldn't remember the url they were linking to from their koolpcmods page. Now I got the bookmark updated! :D

Getting older seriously sucks sometimes. Guess the fact that I'm rotting my brain with porn doens't help either, huh?? :eek: ;)
 
from the looks of their site i wouldnt disappointed if they wherre gone....theres nothing good there but thats just me i guess

No, there's not much there, it's all about the custom work they do. Everyone else I've contacted to laser etch or custom cut plexi wants a hundred bucks just to set everything up.
 
We are still here. We were koolpcmods and now we are thepcmodshop.com.

We know we have had slim pickens on products. Mainly just custom windows. I have been out of the pc world for some time, but am now back. So look for some great new products, and of course we are bringing back some old goodies. IE: Mouse Pads, bezels etc.

We have stared to add more products already.

I'm actaully not a newbie around here, but like I said I've been away from the modding for a while. I had to create a new acccount as my old account. Well I forgot the password and my old email account to retrieve the info is not active anymere. Bummer!

Good to hear you're still there... have always been very impressed with the quality of your etches although I did have a problem once... but that's another story...

Can't wait to see what kind of things you come up with.

Might be sending an e-mail your way with some work I'll be needing in the next few weeks/month-or-so.
