Koolance tubing replacement question

Okay, now I know what the general opinion is about Koolance around here (I'm replacing the reservoir in my Exos-2 due to leakage thanks to their f*cking lousy reliability), but I'm also in the need for some replacement tubing. Does anyone know what would be the best compromise between the cheapest and most reliable tubing (i.e less prone to kinking)?

My setup comprises of 3/8" and 1/4" tubing provided with the water cooling kit. Would I expect any trouble fitting the tubing from a certain brand over Koolance's brand?
 
sharka has plenty of 3/8" and 1/4" stuff in stock.... I personally like tygon.
