I've got a koolance RP-452X2 v1.3 and two D5 pumps and I was wondering if there would be any issues with running pump one through a 280 rad and then into pump two instead of the 180 deg connector koolance makes that you would normally use to run the pumps in series. I'm asking mainly because where the 280 rad would mount is basically right next to the res but its in a bit of an awkward location to connect it directly with two main rads.
The setup I'm looking at right now is the res and dual pumps in series running through 2 opterons and 2 360 rads I don't have any plans to water cooling anything else the single loop dual pump setup is for redundancy.
The setup is most likely overkill for 2 quad-core opterons but parts were mostly used and cheap from a buddy and if it means a whisper quiet server instead of 5-6000rpm jet engines it's so worth it.
