[H] has posted a review of this next generation water cooling system from Koolance! This baby can dissipate up 700W of heat energy! :eek:
 
Very poor performace compared to the other water cooling setups. The Koolance Exos performs better at around half the price.
 
they say that better 120mm fans may improve performance.
 
the fact that the thing is so expensive and doesnt come with any waterblocks annoys me, i think if they just bit the bullet and gave at just the cpu block with the case then theyd shut alot of people up who complain that it doesnt come with any blocks. alot of the people who buy this will end up buying gpu blocks anyway.
 
I can't beleive it draws air from inside the case.
I like the 3/8" tubing, and two big fans on top. Also like them including the FX CPU adapter.
I'd rather them upgrade the Exos AL to have the new mods, call it an Exos AL2 and sell it for the same $200. But expecting people to spend $370 for a system that performs worse than the first is nuts. Forget about bundling the unit with a case and keep things seperate.
How are you supposed to get the coolant out of it after a year? Turn the entire computer upside down?
 
Isn't it possible to reverse the fans or to replace them on your own?
Also, I think it'd be good to see results if there were actually 4 80mm fans installed inside the case.

Yes, the article does mention it. The fans blow up, meaning it sucks from inside the case and sends the air up the top. [H] suggests that if the fans blew in, they'd bring fresh, cold air from the room into the case instead of using hot system air for the radiator.
 
they did that to cool the case....just take them off and switch them around the other way...which way the fans are flowing isnt a big deal at all....we all know that can be fixed
 
But then the fans would be blowing into the rad rather than pulling through it.

Your temps would probably be even worse.
