Koolance PC2-650BK radiator?

hey guys! after keepin an eye on this website for about 3 months now, i finally decided to start up an account! :)

anyways, i have a PC2-650BK that im working on, and i was thinking about replacing the radiator for a more efficent one.

id like to be able to mount a new one in the stock fitting keeping it travel friendly, but im not too sure which radiator will fit. i considered removing the whole stock radiator apparatus (fan housing and all) altogether and fashoning something new, but that would sort of defeat the purpose of buying the case.

i would like to avoid having hoses and a radiator sticking off the back/side/top, but if i have to, c'est la vie.

I had one that runs completely stock...it really wasnt that bad for just a base line machine no overclocking. If you want to replace that whole set up it really wouldnt be that hard. I would have to ask you to start off what type of application are you planning on using it for? Lets start there
 
well i want to oc the sandiego. that radiator may be ok, but id rather go with something a little more efficient. id like to get as much cooling performance as i can so i can get the most out of my system.

If you plan to OC then I would tell you not to expect your temps to be lower than what you would get from a air cooling setup. I mean you still get the "quiet" factor but not bone chilling cold. Are you still considering removal of the stock rad? Just know that you will off balance your digital read out and automatic fan controls.
 
you would be much better served replacing the pumps. the radiator is not all that bad. the pumps on the other hand are very weak compared to just about everything else on the market barring Tt and the like. get yourself a nice DDC or D12.

i will take what you have suggested into consideration. i already planned on replacing the pump, and i do want to OC the cpu still. i was trying to avoid removing the stock wc mechanisim already in place, but if im not going to get much cooler than air, then the whole apparatus seems a bit pointless anyway.

although, undoing the stock setup will force me to get the old creative juices flowing again...

hmm, im going to do some measuring, rough sketching and such to see what i can come up with and see what is feesable.
