I'm new to H2O cooling...

Got a used Koolance PC2-601 setup and am going to implement a test system that I have lying around. I know this is n00bish but I kind of like the setup so far... Been doing some prep work to it getting it ready. The only thing I dont like about it so far is the size of the reservoir.

Anyone in the [H] mod a setup like this one to add another reservoir that feeds directly into the Koolance reservoir? Basically I was thinking of running the loop to the larger reservoir from the H2O blocks... then run 1/2" tubing from the larger reservoir to the Koolance one. This would also make filling / topping off the levels much easier than turning the case upside down.... :rolleyes:

Also if you've done other mods to this Koolance setup I might be interested in... let me know.

Why don't you just order a new style EXOS I replacement pump. It has the fill port on the top. I don't think a bigger reservoir is going to do anything for you except perhaps in the looks department. :)
 
Dont really want to get an Exos .... this is a good case as I'm a n00b... just starting out on H2O cooling. I'm not a massive overclocker by any means... just looking for a nice quiet cooling solution. But also want some "looks" to go with it... this is where some extra mods come into place.

Biggest thing to decide for me right now is if I want to go UV or not yet... :rolleyes:

Kind of re-sketching out the system in CAD right now so I can have a good computer visual of how this alternate reservoir is going to get set up...

Gonna be a slow process... but I'm not in a hurry to get everything done...
