Did anybody buy the Koolance Exos, 1 or 2? Is it worth the price?

I just picked up a used Exos on the forums here, and it has been great so far. Using the stock hsf on my p4 3.4, I was limited to 3.96 @ 62c under load. With the Exos, I am up to 4.15ghz and haven't passed 38c yet.

I love my Exos. It kicks major ass. I also like it's portability, that is the main reason i got it. I can move it between computers in less than 15 mins.

Just Hooked up mine today and have been able to reack 3.5 on my 2.8, which on air was unattainable. How much voltage increase on the cpu could you guys do after compared to before. Sitting stable at 31 load!

So your 2.4 is running at those speeds on default voltages. man that chip must be as amazing as I have heard. Sorta wish I had that instead of the 2.8. You did up the votage on your gskill though. Are those the La or Le?

that reminds me how do you tell if its LE or LA ive got a gig of gskill pc4400 tccd but whats the difference between the LA and LE revisions

Go here to see an EXOS I in action. They work so good the DIY boys and gals just gnash their teeth in frustration and have strokes just thinking about it. ;) Using an EXOS I is what led me to look at Aqua Computer products, which also use 6mm ID tubing, for a hybrid Koolance/DIY setup I am currently working on. :p

As for being worth the price, it depends on the price you get. You can make a DIY setup for less that will give you better performance and can fit inside you case, but it wont be an all-in-one setup either. Getting an exos would be much easier definately, but many people (like me) find putting together everything yourself to be more rewarding, and can give you better performance.

This ram is LE, and BTW....Voltage on them is 2.65. These are week 431 TCCD, awesome sticks. I heard that they aren't in production anymore either.

I have the EXOS-Al. So far, I just don't really like the resevoir so much. Worth the price? Well it's definately worth it if you don't feel like setting up a DIY one. It should be less than $120 now right?
