i'm pretty sure, what are the pump/blocks that you are using?

He's using a Koolance.

The Koolance is mainly designed to be an alternative to high-end air-cooling. It certainly won't do what the other WC systems you'll read about on the [H] do. If you've already gotten your speeds up to those specs, than the Koolance will do it, too.

To overclock a prescott and a 6800, you're looking at speding a bundle on HSF's, or you're looking at spending a bundle on a water system. (By bundle, I mean at least $100. I know you can do water on the cheap, but cheap water is still a good bit of money.)

yeah, mine ended up being like $260 w/ shipping, which is not bad...i wasn't sure which blocks/pump the exos came with...should've looked it up though...it should be able to handle it, though. the only difference, i think, is the cache...that's the extra like 300 bucks, which isn't worth it in my opinion, but oh well...you might see a moderate rise in temps, but nothing huge, maybe 8-10*C, correct me if i'm wrong, maybe less...

i actually currently get VERY good temps with 1.7vcore i get 34C idle and 44C full load on a hot day as long as the pressy dosnt raise my temps more than 5C i should be just fine its just wont OC like a bat outa hell that hot i think

wow, u know, usually i don't make fun of people like this...but wow....i think i learned about periods in....kindergarten? or maybe preschool...? lol, jk, but yeah, you can still "overclock like a bat outta hell" if you want, just expect like 48-50*C under load. If that doesn't really matter to you, then by all means go for it!!!

To be quite honest, if you run the latest CPU and GPU Koolance WB's, your EXOS should handle the temps without much of a problem !

XP-M 2400+ @ 2545Mhz (11.5x221@1.925v) Koolance EXOS Temps: Idle=30c Load=36c

I was wondering if the temps that you guys reported are the temps by Koolance Exos temp probe (the display on Exos unit) or by motherboard BIOS (like AbitEQ or MBM)?

Also, RM_Bulldog, wanted to ask you: what corsair memory exactly are you using (ddr433 or ddr500 or what?)

Yes, your Koolance Exos can handle both the Prescott and the GPU. I know because I also own a Koolance Exos and I used to cool down a Prescott 2.8E@3.3E and a BFG 6800 GT's core (just the core and not the RAM).
