Ohhh torched by a newb..

but yeah, that looks kinda impractical. Ram doesn't heat up to a point where it needs to be cooled down. Maybe in the future when more heavy duty ram comes out....for now I'll keep my money in my pocket.
 
Actually, Winbond RAM absolutely requires active cooling above around 3.2V. The same holds true of Micron-C dies over about 3V, though I believe their newer ICs run pleasantly cool.

looks like you stuck in 1999. the current most commonly used performance rams pretty much need the active cooling of some sort. bh-5 over 3v and tccd over 250mhz
 
They don't really need anything special directly cooling them, just a case with good air flow work.............. :cool: I run my PQI Turbo (TCCD) up to 310 MHz (610 DDR) at times while benching with just normal case cooling. Never had a heat issue yet................. :D
