I was wondering if anyone could give me there oppinion on this camera. It seems like a great camera for around $400. I like to take photos of moving wildlife and lanscape and I've been told that it will alow me to take quality images in these areas. I know its specs are a shutter speed of 1/1000 - 15sec. I also know that alot of times digital cameras, or atleast the ones I've used, delay when retrieving the image. Any recommendations on another camera would also be greatly appreciated. I have a budget of under $500 sadly, so if there is a better camera with good optical zoom and shutter speeds, please let me know.

Chubs you might try cnet and, read the users opinons there. It is the only time I ever go there. Too many other forum sites have fans saying the camera is great, when it is'nt what you really wanted.

I think the Dimage Z3 is out now (not many reviews yet), so you might want to look at it instead of the Z2.

Well, after much deliberation, I ordered a Panasonic FZ3, but the darned place sent me a Konica Minolta Z3. Thoughts? Everything I've been reading says the Z3's pictures are noiser than the FZ3, so I'm thinking of sending the Konica Minolta back.
 
thanks for the info guys. I am leading towards the Olympus C-770 Ultra Zoom now. Mostly due to it has the features I am looking for, and after reading many reviews and viewing sample images it seems pretty consistent in quality.
