I believe Knight Online is free to play and download, I've never played it so I can't list any pros and cons.

Well since someone started a thread about Free MMOs, anyone play Silkroad yet? Is it any good? If you've ever played Priston Tale is it related in anyway?

Knight Online is free (or at least it was several months ago when I was playing it).

It's pretty standard faire as far as MMORPGs go, but at least it's free.

I, personally, got bored and eventually quit playing, but you might like it more
(I never even played to the part of actually becoming a Knight)

I played it a year ago for 2 weeks over the holidays. I got to level 20 and stopped playing. Move to a certain area. Kill whatever is in that area until you're strong enough to go to the next area. I got bored after 2 weeks playing it but I've never played any other MMORPGs before.

i played it since it was free. Maxed all gfx and it still look like crap. Theres only 3 characters and everyone looks the same ( I MEAN THE SAME). It got hella boring after 2 days.... I MEAN BORING, it gets boring faster than lineage2. Nows thats a record. But hey its free...

But personally I would just guild wars if you wanted a no monthly fee
