I have a Promedia 5.1 Ultra, probably 3 years old, and it's crappin out hard... I'm tempted to send it to get fixed for $90 + shipping, but I kinda just want to test stuff and figure out what's wrong myself.
I'm having issues with crackling and the satellites going off and only sound coming from the sub. I'm thinking capacitor may be part of the problem, but perhaps as I've read there's a MOSFET that needs switching out too....
Anyone have any advice?
