klipsch promedia 2.1

[mikeczyz]

just got my new computer speakers in. gotta say, quite a step up from what i had been using...a 2.1 altec lansing system. i'm no audiophile but these speakers sound significantly better. much more crisp although a bit hollow in teh mids from what i usualyl listen to music on. set up is a piece of cake and they satellite speakers have a mini-jack for a cd player or an ipod and an out for headphones. convenient. all in all, not a bad buy for 100 bucks.

Where did you find em' for a cool $100?

If you're having problems with your mids try using the equalizer on music player. I have the 5.1s and my mids seemed a bit weak but with tweaking they turned out just fine, also your soundcard might have an equalizer in it's drivers.

I picked up 2 sets of Klipsch Promedia 2.1's for $50 each off of craigslist a few months ago. Nobody on there seemed to know how good they are as the guy was having trouble selling them.
