ok, i have the Klipsch 4.1 setup and have a lil' problem that is starting to annoy me. Whenever i adjust the volume knob, i hear a static sound from the speakers. The sound stops immediately after i stop using the knob. Other than that, the speakers sound great at all levels. What causes this and whats a fix?

I had that happen to me a few times, but for some reason, it went away. Maybe try this. Power off the speakers, then unplug the power cord from the power source, wait 10 seconds, then plug power back in. Then turn on speakers and see if the problem is still there.

I have had this same problem for quite some time. I remember reading a while back that it had to do with the control box mounted under the speaker that was an earlier model and defective. (I have the control box that does NOT have a power off button). If you're still under warranty, you should be able to call klipsch and have them send you a new control box. From what i remember, this was a problem on many klipsch 4.1 systems.
