I am looking for some decent speakers and was wondering, which one do you guys recommend out of the two? Maybe you guys have different speakers that are in the same price range that you feel is better than either. Please give me your opinions. Thanks in advance :D .

In my honest opinion your best bet is to get a good pair of 2.1 speakers, such as the altec mx5021, klipsch 2.1 for music, and a pair of sweet ass headphones for gaming. THe Senn hd485/555.

So you prefer the Klipschs over the Logitechs? Btw, bass is one of the key factors here. My dorm neighbors are starting to piss me off by singing and crap... Time for some revenge!!

The logitech's bass is most likely the most boomy, but I prefer the altec's over the klipsch's. I have never heard the z-2300. If your in college a 5.1 setup could be a hassle, I am telling you man get a high end pair of 2.1's i.e klipsh, altec mx5021, and a nice pair of senn hd485's for gaming.

I think I'm going to be going for the Klipsch, although the 5.1 Promedia Ultras for 200$ is tempting...

The 5.1 U's are $300 everywhere I've seen. I am telling you, check out the Altec Lansing Mx5021's.

I can get the 5.1's for 200$ new. Do you think that I should jump on the deal? I checked out the Altec's and I would rather just go with the Promedia 2.1's

Dude, Hell Yeah. If they don't work out you could always sell them for profit.
