just replace the plexiglas/acrylic,whatever material it is.not hard to do,just drill the holes accordingly and screw it in place.should take you about 10 mins to do in total

i would do that no sweat but these have a custom bevel, bezel? on them that makes the end rusult flush with the aluminum.. if i just slaped another peice on there is would look as nice i don't think bec it would be behind the aluminum .. you know what i mean?

Yeah, it's highly unlikely that they would sell only the acrylic itself. Sorry man.

Yeah I doubt they sell only the acrylic also. Maybe you could email Kingwin directly and see if they have nay they'd sell?

Another option would be to tape off a design on the window and scratch the hell out of it on purpose. I think that would look pretty cool... almost like a take on the frosted window designs but with a little different texture.

freak .. the whole door will be like 40+ bucks .. damn

and what do i do with my old .. it's worthless to me..

oh well..

imin the same boat my friend iw ant to replace the acrylic on my soprano.. mayube someone here has it and can help me cut a new one? want to put blue acrylic up there but this one sits os so perdy heh

i recommend replacing the window (ie: putting it behind the aluminum) and never looking back. i bet you could come up with a clever solution to blend the gap between the acrylic and the case frame, like gluing a thin strip of plastic all the way around to border the window. could be nice!

oh, oh, check this out: how about just straight up mounting the acrylic outside the case frame?? if the window is cut professionally, that would look excellent!

the flush looks so professional .

i think i'm just going to break down and buy the whole new door..

wtf....
copy into ur browser :
http://www.directron.com/201window.html#highlight(2) You can't buy these professional-looking windows anywhere

i don't understand your comment ..

do you think that they are saying they sell it but the don't?

mal

It says "You can't buy these professional-looking windows anywhere"
wth :X

you're going to have to be a little more descriptive ...

if you read the whole thread .. i was looking for ONLY the acrylic peice ..

directron sells the whole door for 35shiped to me ..

When my window got fucked up on my case I just took it off and bought some cheap ass window screen and used that. I think it looks better and it allows for better air flow. It also stops shit from getting in the case. Sure, I have to dust it a little more now, but its worth it. :D
