Hey guys, I was just about to order my new PC with a corsair 950TX PSU when I stumbled across a kingwin 1050W PSU for $50 cheaper than the corsair.

this is what it says on the back of it:

and heres the link for it on newegg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817121070&Tpk=kingwin 1050mm

its $109 compared to the $155 950tx. but i notice it doesn't have an official 80 plus sign.

should I stick with the 950tx? get the kingwin? something totally different? I want a $155 PSU or less that performs the best, doesn't have to be modular.

(i also found a $145 950W PC power & cooling one, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817703028)

tell me what you guys think is the best psu for under $155. thanks! :D

It's a budget Superflower-made PSU. I don't know how well it performs. I'd personally stick with the TX950.

I owned a TX950 and it was an excellent PSU, as for 80+ it actually tests to silver level certification so an added bonus.
Definately go with the Corsair
